Real Food Farm

Bringing Real Food to Deserving Communities

Real Food Farm (RFF) is an urban farm in Baltimore, MD dedicated to providing food access and education to the communities living in food deserts. I worked with a small group of designers for a year-long collaboration with the farm where we transformed an old newspaper truck into a mobile food market.

Get Real

The initial kickoff for this project was immersing ourselves into farming. Each week, our team would head to the farm to plant seeds, harvest and sell produce to locals. That experience brought us to rethink how the food was reaching people and is ultimately what lead to the Mobile Market.

Through the Sappi Ideas That Matter grant, we were able to produce a handful of educational material and collateral to bring Real Food Farm's Mobile Market to life. Watch this inspiring video about our process from Sappi.
